Taking a Print Publication Digital
eco@home magazine is a quarterly print publication produced by the American Public Power Association and 3 Custom Publishing. These companies were looking for more ways to increase sales and connect with energy utilities throughout the United States. Here's what we did:

The first step in this process was craft the beginnings of a web presence. We started with a custom website. Kate Allen Design worked with staff from 3CP to develop a site that met with their style guidelines, and reflected their branding to serve as a B2B marketing tool.
Next, we looked at how we could increase value without increasing production costs. Since 3CP was already developing editorial content for the print version of eco@home, we decided to create an interactive digital version as well.
Finally, we developed an email marketing plan designed to introduce current eco@home subscribers to the digital edition, which would include added features customized to fit each recipient's geographic location.
